As part of the Australasian Consumer Fraud Taskforce’s National Consumer Fraud Week 2011 campaign, together Telstra and the ACCC have developed scams awareness videos on personalised scams and smartphone device scams. The videos feature former ACCC Deputy Chair, Peter Kell and provide tips on how you can protect yourself from scammers.

Smartphones are becoming a big part of many Australians’ lives but unfortunately scammers also love new technology and will try to take advantage of any opportunities it offers.
